City of Tacoma Lending Programs

*All City Loan Programs are currently on hold until July 2025 while staff focuses on the Community Reinvestment Project*

The City of Tacoma offers a number of business loans to help launch, retain, or grow a business. Staff from the Community and Economic Development Department can work with you to help you understand which loans may be right for your business and the requirements associated with each. The business loans available include the following:

– Small Business Loan
– Microloan Program
– Grow America Fund
– Historic Rehabilitation & Repair Loan
– Fire Safety Loan
– Business Façade Improvement Loan
